Daryl Worley

CB, FS/KR · West Virginia
After earning First Team All-Big 12 honors in 2015 with a career-high 12 pass breakups and six interceptions, Worley elected to give up his final collegiate eligibility and declare early for the NFL. He's a three year starter with the length, speed and ballskills the NFL is searching for but comes with character concerns following a suspension for the final game of his career at West Virginia (a Cactus Bowl win over Arizona State) due to academics and a two game suspension in 2014 following an assault of a woman in a night club on September 14, 2014. Claiming that the charges came as a result of an attack on his girlfriend, Worley pleaded no contest to misdemeanor assault and received probation with no jail time after initially being charged with misdemeanor battery. If teams are comfortable with Worley's character, he could draw consideration as early as the middle rounds as he projects well as a press corner at the next level and possesses the size and range to potentially make the switch to safety, as well.
