Gino Guidugli

QB · Cincinnati
Positives...Has an even-proportioned frame with adequate muscle tone...Plays hard and works to make the play succeed...Has adequate feet in his pass set up, getting back into the pocket in decent time...Has adequate arm strength and velocity...Shows poise under pressure and has the arm strength to get the ball deep...Shows enough foot agility to slide in the pocket and adequate timing on outside plays...Displays the scrambling ability to escape pressure and the arm strength to throw on the run. Negatives...Inconsistent in his ball placement and sometimes takes too long to release the ball (48 interceptions)...Will force the ball into coverage and sometimes makes poor decisions...Has technique problems and needs to improve his long and short ball accuracy...Misses a lot of easy throws, especially on crossing routes...Gets good distance on his deep throws, but they tend to lack zip and just hang in the air, making his receivers work back to the ball...Does not always get his shoulders squared when throwing on the run...Needs to do a better job of looking off his first read, as he gets stuck too long on his primary target...Has decent scrambling ability, but not enough foot speed to win any races...When he throws off his back foot (does this quite a bit), his tosses tend to sail, as he fails to set his feet and will throw across his body.
