2023: Hunt was a menace defensively all season, filling up the stat sheet with 46 tackles, 6.5 sacks, nine tackles for loss, one interception returned for a touchdown, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, two pass breakups, three quarterback hurries and a blocked kick. The senior led all players in the conference with 6.5 sacks in six games while no other player in the league registered more than four sacks vs. SLC opponents. Hunt posted a three-sack performance along with a forced fumble and a fumble recovery vs. Lamar this season.

Hunt became the first FCS player this season to receive invitations to both the East-West Shrine Bowl and the Reese's Senior Bowl, accepting the Senior Bowl invite. Hunt was a second team all-conference selection last season. He is now the program's second ever SLC Defensive Player of the Year, joining current Jacksonville Jaguar Caleb Johnson. Johnson was named Co-Defensive Player of the Year in 2020.

2022: Hunt started all 11 games in his first season at HCU…named second team all-Southland Conference…led the SLC in tackles for loss (11.5) and forced fumbles (3), tied for second in the league in sacks (7) and was ninth in the conference in tackles (87)…his 87 tackles ranked third on the team while he led all HCU players in both sacks and tackles for loss…recorded a career-high 12 tackles vs. Nicholls (10/8) along with 1.5 tackles for loss, half a sack and three quarterback hurries…made 11 tackles with 1.5 tackles for loss and a sack in a win at Lamar (10/1)…recorded a pair of sacks to go along with 2.5 tackles for loss and eight tackles at Texas A&M-Commerce (10/22)…in a season-opening win at Northern Colorado (9/3), Hunt had nine tackles, a fumble recovery for a touchdown, a forced fumble, 1.5 tackles for loss, one sack, a quarterback hurry and a pass breakup…recorded eight tackles in a game four different times. Previous Schools: Hunt spent three years at Cornell prior to joining the Huskies…played two seasons for the Big Red while the Ivy League cancelled all games in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic…played in 17 games at Cornell, making one start…totaled 29 tackles and was credited with one blocked punt, one fumble recovery and a pass breakup…recorded six tackles vs. VMI in 2021.
