Week 2: Washington was victoriuos over Tulsa 43-10. Rome  recorded 7 catches for a total of 107 yards and 1 touchdown. His longest receiption was for 34 yards

Week 1: Washington won their fisrt game vs. Boise State 56-19. Rome had a awesome first game of the season. He caught 7 passes for 132 yards and 1 touchdown. Romeś longest reception was for 29 yards.
