LB B.J. Goodson (foot) was limited in Wednesday's practice, his status for Sunday unclear.

WR Sterling Shepard (hip) was limited in Wednesday's practice but is expected to be ready to go Sunday in the regular-season finale against Dallas.

WR Odell Beckham, Jr. (quad) did not practice Wednesday. Head coach Pat Shurmur said that Beckham continues to make progress and that there is a chance that the receiver will play in Sunday's regular-season finale against the Cowboys.

QB Taylor Heinicke of the Panthers was played on the Injured Reserve List because of a left elbow injury. Heinicke sustained the injury last week in his starting debut as a pro against the Atlanta Falcons after the Panthers shut down startin

QB Kyle Allen, an undrafted rookie, will start at quarterback in the season finale against the New Orleans Saints after the Panthers placed Taylor Heinicke on the Injured Reserve List earlier in the day. RB Phillip Lindsay's impressive rookie season has come to an end after an MRI revealed ligament damage in his wrist. Broncos coach Vance Joseph confirmed Lindsay's injury is "serious" during an appearance on Orange and Blue 760 and said the rookie will be having surgery as a result. NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported that Lindsay has a "possible scaphoid fracture, along with ligament damage" ...

RB Melvin Gordon had 41 rushing yards on 12 carries and a touchdown after missing the last three games. His third-quarter touchdown was the 28th of his career, tying Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott for the second-most in the NFL since the start of 2016.

RB Justin Jackson produced career highs in receptions (7) and receiving yards (47).

QB Philip Rivers was 23-of-37 for 181 yards and two interceptions Saturday. He did not throw a touchdown, ending a 26-game streak with at least a one scoring pass. He did hit the 4,000-yard passing mark for the 10th time in his career, third most in NFL history.

WR Larry Fitzgerald has 698 receiving yards this season, and if does not get at least 82 yards in the final game he will have the lowest single-season receiving-yardage total in his 15-year career.
