WR Brian Brown was signed by the Lions to their practice squad Wednesday (Dec. 26). He had been waived by the Lions Aug. 31. Brown returns to the Lions after spending a portion of training camp with the team. He originally entered the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys in 2017 as an undrafted rookie out of Richmond.

WR Steven Dunbar Jr. was signed by the 49ers from their practice squad Wednesday (Dec. 26). Dunbar Jr. (6-3, 202) was originally signed by the 49ers as an undrafted rookie free agent on April 30 out of the University of Houston. He was waived on Sept. 1 and signed to the team's practice squad the following day.
