DT Joshua Frazier was signed by the Lions to their practice squad Wednesday (Dec. 12). He had been waived by the Steelers Sept. 1. Frazier comes to Detroit after spending time with the Pittsburgh Steelers during the 2018 preseason. He was drafted by the Steelers in the seventh round (246th overall) of the 2018 draft out of Alabama.

T Jarron Jones was signed by the Lions to the practice squad Wednesday (Dec. 12). He had been released by the Vikings from practice-squad injured Nov. 27. Jones comes to the club after stints this season with the Washington Redskins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice squads. He originally entered the NFL in 2017 with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Notre Dame.

C Jake Brendel (calf) was placed on reserve/injured by the Dolphins Wednesday (Dec. 12). He will miss the remainder of the 2018 season. Brendel played in four games with three starts for the Dolphins this season. He began the season on injured reserve before being activated off the list on Nov. 2. Brendel played in all 16 games for the Dolphins in 2017 and has appeared in 21 NFL games with three starts. ...

C Hroniss Grasu was signed by the Dolphins Wednesday (Dec. 12). He had been waived by the Ravens Nov. 24. Grasu is a four-year veteran who played three seasons in Chicago (2015-17) and one in Baltimore (2018). He played in three games with one start at left guard for the Ravens this season. G Nico Siragusa was signed by the Packers Wednesday (Dec. 12) from the Ravens practice squad. Siragusa (6-4, 320) was originally drafted by the Baltimore Ravens out of San Diego State in the fourth round (No. 122 overall) of the 2017 draft. TE Marcus Lucas was signed by the 49ers to the practice squad Wednesday (Dec. 12). Lucas (6-4, 250) was originally signed by the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent on May 16, 2014. Throughout his career, he has spent time on the practice squads with the Panthers (2014-15 and 2016), Miami Dolphins (2015), Chicago Bears (2015), Seattle Seahawks (2016), Indianapolis Colts (2017) and Oakland ...

WR Pierre Garcon (knee) was placed on reserve/injured by the 49ers Wednesday (Dec. 12). He will miss the remainder of the 2018 season. Garçon (6-0, 211) started eight games this season and registered 24 receptions for 286 yards and one touchdown.

S Tyree Robinson was signed by the 49ers Wednesday (Dec. 12) from the Cowboys practice squad. Robinson (6-2, 202) originally signed with the Cowboys as an undrafted rookie free agent on May 11 out of the University of Oregon. He was active in each of the first two games of the season and was waived by Dallas on Sept. 18. Robinson was signed to the Cowboys practice squad on Sept. 20.

QB Ryan Tannehill has an ankle injury but is expected to play.

CB Xavien Howard missed last week due to a knee injury and is questionable for Sunday. Howard is tied for the NFL lead in interceptions with seven.
