Player Notes

RB Matt Breida (sprained ankle) was able to participate on a limited basis when the 49ers began preparations for their Week 15 matchup with Seattle on Wednesday. It's possible he could return to action after having sat out the Week 14 win over Denver.

WR Tajae Sharpe was limited with an ankle injury that has bothered him for a few weeks. He aggravated the injury against Jacksonville.

T Taylor Lewan was limited due to a shoulder injury from last week's game against Jacksonville.

LB Brian Orakpo missed Wednesday's practice with an elbow injury sustained in Thursday's win over Jacksonville.

S Dane Cruikshank finally returned to practice in a limited role after having his knee scoped recently.

T Dennis Kelly was out of practice on Wednesday due to a family matter. He was scheduled to return to practice on Thursday and will start against the Giants on Sunday.

RB David Fluellen remains out with a knee injury and has not played since the win over the New England Patriots.

DE Kentavius Street was returned to practice by the 49ers Wednesday (Dec. 12) and remains on reserve/non-football injury. Normally, he would be eligible to practice for 21 days at which point the 49ers could activate him, release him or keep him on reserve/NFI for the rest of the season. However, there are only 18 days remaining until the day before the end of the regular season.

C Casey Dunn was placed on practice squad/injured by the Redskins Wednesday (Dec. 12).

CB Simeon Thomas was signed by the Seahawks to the practice squad Wednesday (Dec. 12). He had been released by the Seahawks from the practice squad Dec. 5.
