CB Kendall Fuller of the Kansas City Chiefs played through what is believed to be a broken wrist against the Los Angeles Chargers and had surgery on Friday morning, the NFL Network reported. Fuller will be out for an undetermined length of time, a blow to the Kansas City defense because he is perhaps the best player in a secondary that has allowed the most yards in the NFL this season.

WR Ryan Switzer as questionable because of an ankle injury and he was a limited participant in practice on Friday.

QB Ben Roethlisberger, who missed most of the second half last week because of a rib injury but returned late in the game, was a full participant in practice on Friday, and will start against the Patriots.

WR Julio Jones returned to practice Friday and is expected to play in Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals. There was concern about Jones availability for the matchup versus the Cardinals after Falcons coach Dan Quinn told reporters on Thursday that his star wide receiver was sent home due to illness. RB James Conner, who missed last week's game because of an ankle injury, practiced on a limited basis on Friday and was listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the New England Patriots. Conner sat out practice on Tuesday and Wednesday. Jaylen Samuels replaced Conner in the starting lineup against Oakland and rushed for only 28 yards on 11 carries, but he did catch seven passes for 64 yards. ...

RB Chris Thompson is listed as questionable for Sunday's game. Thompson, who is third on the team with 34 catches despite appearing in only seven games, is dealing with an illness.

WR Josh Doctson is listed as questionable for Sunday's game. Doctson, who remains in the NFL's concussion protocol, is second to Jordan Reed on the club with 39 receptions for 469 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

TE Vernon Davis is expected to draw the start Sunday in Jordan Reed's place. A former No. 6 overall pick of San Francisco in the 2006 NFL Draft, Davis has 23 receptions and two touchdowns this year. He had four catches for 31 yards last weekend.

TE Jordan Reed has been ruled out due to a toe injury he suffered in last weekend's 40-16 drubbing by the New York Giants. Redskins coach Jay Gruden said earlier this week that Reed may not return this season. The sixth-year tight end underwent surgery on both of his toes in the offseason. Reed did not have a catch against New York and has a team-high 54 receptions for 558 yards and two touchdowns.

WR Odell Beckham Jr. was ruled out of Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans due to a quadriceps injury. The decision to rule out Beckham on Friday came one day after the star wideout underwent further evaluation at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan.
