LB Malik Jefferson was placed on reserve/injured by the Bengals Tuesday (Dec. 18). He will miss the remainder of the 2018 season. Jefferson, a rookie out of the University of Texas, suffered a foot injury in Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders. He was the second of two third-round Bengals draft picks this year. LB Chris Worley was signed by the Bengals from their practice squad Tuesday (Dec. 18). Worley, a rookie, has spent the entire season on the Bengals' practice squad. He signed with the team this year as a college free agent out of Ohio State University and was added to the practice squad on Sept. 2 after being waived in the cuts to 53 players.

RB C.J. Anderson will sign with the Los Angeles Rams, Mike Garafolo of NFL Media reported Tuesday. The team has not yet announced the move. The Rams believe running back Todd Gurley will be all right despite inflammation in his knee, but they lost backup Malcolm Brown to a season-ending injury. The 27-year-old Anderson will give the Rams some experienced depth at the position.

S Montae Nicholson was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault Tuesday morning after allegedly being involved in a drunken fight at a shopping complex near the team's practice facilities, multiple media outlets reported. RB Christian McCaffrey set the franchise's single-season record for yards from scrimmage during the first quarter of Monday's 12-9 setback to the New Orleans Saints. McCaffrey rushed for a 9-yard run to break the record established by DeAngelo Williams, who accumulated 1,636 yards in 2008. Williams had 1,515 rushing yards and 121 receiving yards that season. TE Hunter Henry may be able to play in this season for the Los Angeles Chargers after all. Henry participated in practice on Monday for the first time since sustaining a torn ACL in his right knee on May 22. CB Aqib Talib got his first interception since the Rams traded for him last March. The 11th-year pro played the first two games and then was out for eight while recovering from ankle surgery. He picked off a Nick Foles pass in the fourth quarter and returned it 30 yards.

WR Robert Woods had seven receptions for 74 yards against the Eagles.

RB Todd Gurley II (knee inflammation) is day-to-day, according to coach Sean McVay. Gurley had 12 carries for 48 yards and two touchdowns against the Eagles, and 10 catches for 76 yards.

P Johnny Hekker averaged 56.3 yards on three punts with a long of 65 yards.
