LB Tegray Scales was signed by the Colts to their practice squad Tuesday (Dec. 18). He had been waived by the Rams Sept. 1. Scales, 6-0, 227 pounds, participated in the Los Angeles Rams' 2018 offseason program and training camp. He originally signed with the Rams as an undrafted free agent on May 2. Scales participated in the Colts' 2018 local pro day.

LB Skai Moore (neck) was placed on reserve/injured by the Colts Tuesday (Dec. 18). He will miss the remainder of the 2018 season. Moore, 6-2, 218 pounds, has spent time on Indianapolis' active roster and practice squad this season. He saw action in nine games (one start) and registered four solo tackles. Moore was originally signed by the Colts as an undrafted free agent on May 1.

S J.J. Wilcox was signed by the Colts Tuesday (Dec. 18). His contract had been terminated by the Jets Oct. 8. Wilcox, 6-0, 212 pounds, has played in 75 career games (39 starts) in his time with the New York Jets (2018), Pittsburgh Steelers (2017) and Dallas Cowboys (2013-16) and has compiled 211 tackles (153 solo), 1.0 tackle for loss, six interceptions, 16 passes defensed, two forced fumbles and three ...

RB Aaron Jones was placed on injured reserve with a knee injury, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Media. Jones is finished for the season after suffering a knee injury in Sunday's game. He had just four carries for 8 yards in that game. He had 133 carries for 728 yards and eight touchdowns this season, and he also caught 26 passes for 206 yards and a touchdown.

LB Christian Kuntz was signed by the Jaguars to their practice squad Monday (Dec. 17). He had been waived by the Broncos June 14.

QB J.T. Barrett IV was signed by the Saints to the practice squad Monday (Dec. 17). He had been released by the Saints from the practice squad Thursday.

WR DeAngelo Yancey was signed by the Jets to the practice squad Monday (Dec. 17). He had been released by the Packers from the practice squad Oct. 16.

C Kyle Friend was signed by the Browns to the practice squad Tuesday (Dec. 18). He had been released by the Cardinals from the practice squad Nov. 6. Friend is 6-2, 305 pounds and officially in his first NFL season out of Temple. S Chris Cooper was signed by the Bengals to their practice squad Tuesday (Dec. 18). He had been waived from reserve/injured with an injury settlement by the Colts Sept. 28. Cooper (5-11, 200) originally signed with the Colts as a college free agent out of Stony Brook this year.
