WR Odell Beckham Jr. will sit out his third straight game Sunday. The Giants on Friday ruled out Beckham for Sunday's matchup at the Indianapolis Colts due to a quadriceps injury that has sidelined him for the past two games. Beckham was unable to practice all week for New York, which officially was eliminated from postseason contention with last week's 17-0 home loss to the Tennessee Titans.

WR Julio Jones returned to practice Friday but his status remains uncertain for Sunday's game at the Carolina Panthers. Jones was a limited participant in Friday's practice due to a hip injury and Falcons coach Dan Quinn told reporters he expects his star wideout to be a game-time decision for Sunday. "Usually when he gets some work in on Friday, that's a good thing," Quinn said.

WR Tyler Boyd was ruled out for Sunday's game because of a knee injury suffered in last week's 30-16 win over the Oakland Raiders. Boyd, who like Mixon is a former second-round draft choice of the Bengals, went over 1,000 yards for the season before he was injured in last week's victory.
