3-star wide receiver Jaylan Hornsby flips commitment following Syracuse official visit

Syracuse, N. Y. — Fran Brown has landed his first commitment as Syracuse football’s head coach following a busy weekend of official visits.

Jaylan Hornsby, a three-star wide receiver from New Jersey, announced on social media that he is flipping his verbal commitment from Texas A&M to Syracuse on Sunday night. Hornsby visited the Salt City this weekend, when Images and videos shared by multiple recruits on social media showed the Orange treated them to hibachi in the JMA Wireless Dome and a photoshoot with a sleek, fancy car. Brown had also made an in-home visit to Hornsby on Dec.

A native of Atco, New Jersey — 20 miles south of Brown and Robinson’s hometown of Camden, New Jersey — Hornsby (6-foot-2, 195 pounds) also had offers from Georgia, Penn State, Oregon, Michigan and Duke among several others. Hornsby is the No. 9 player in New Jersey and No.
