Tennessee Titans claim former Chicago Bears cornerback Kindle Vildor off waivers

Nashville Tennessean The Tennessee Titans submitted one waiver claim following NFL cutdown day, adding cornerback Kindle Vildor from the Chicago Bears. Vildor has been in the NFL for three years since the Bears picked him in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He's played in 44 games, making 22 starts.

He has 97 tackles, 10 pass breakups, one interceptions and one sack in his career. By claiming Vildor, the Titans have to add him directly to their 53-man roster. No announcement has been made as to what the offsetting roster move will be to make room for Vildor.

Vildor played four college seasons at Georgia Southern. He is an Atlanta native. The Titans have five cornerbacks on the 53-man roster: Sean Murphy-Bunting, Kristian Fulton, Roger McCreary, Tre Avery and Anthony Kendall.

Kendall is an undrafted rookie who survived his first cut day Tuesday but the other four cornerbacks were locks to make the Titans' roster. .
