NFL Team Report - Philadelphia Eagles</h2><br>Injuries have decimated Eagles this season<p></p> A higher math degree is a requirement to keep up with all the injuries the Philadelphia Eagles have had this season.<p></p> On Tuesday, two more players were added to their reserve/injured list, with running back Corey Clement and rookie defensive end Josh Sweat having their seasons come to an end.<p></p> A day later came the granddaddy of all injuries - quarterback Carson Wentz.<p></p> On Wednesday, head coach Doug Pederson said that his quarterback was suffering back spasms and would be day-to-day. Later reports indicated he has a fracture in his back and that he probably won't play on Sunday night when the Eagles line up against the Rams in Los Angeles. It's possible Wentz could be shut down for the season.<p></p> If he is that would make 12 players the team has had to put on injured reserve. Especially hard hit was the secondary, with starting cornerbacks Jalen Mills and Ronald Darby lost for the season as well as safety Rodney McLeod.<p></p> Darby has been done since playing in his last game on Nov. 11. McLeod went out earlier, blowing out his ACL after a Week 3 game against the Colts. Mills was placed on reserve last Saturday after missing the previous three games.<p></p> There are other heavy hitters the Eagles were counting on to defend their Super Bowl title, too, who have been lost, including running back Jay Ajayi, defensive end Derek Barnett, and receivers Mike Wallace and Mack Hollins. Wallace went down in the second game of the season; Hollins was put on reserve before the season even began.<p></p> Barnett has been out since his last game on Oct. 21 while Ajayi was reserved following the Week 5 game against the Vikings.<p></p> The other two the Eagles had to put on injured reserve are tight end Joshua Perkins and linebacker Paul Worrilow.<p></p> That's a pretty good starting lineup right there for any team.<p></p> Factor into the equation that the Eagles were without running back Darren Sproles for 10 straight games, have had defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan for only one game this season, have had cornerback Sidney Jones miss four games with a hamstring injury, rookie corner/safety Avonte Maddox and linebacker Jordan Hicks miss three straight games with different ailments and is it any wonder that the math adds up to a 6-7 record heading to L.A.?<p></p> Add Wentz, and well, that all-injured reserve team might be good enough to win some games.<p></p> SERIES HISTORY: 39th regular-season meeting. Eagles lead series, 20-17-1. Since 2005, the Eagles have won five straight games against the Rams, which marks their longest winning streak in the all-time series that dates back to 1937. The Eagles won in L.A. during Week 14 last year, 43-35.
