Tracking and rating players is getting tricky as more than 1,000 entered the transfer portal -- with more to come -- and several announce each day that they are opting for the NFL Draft.

Or not.

Approximately 900 players who are technically draft eligible will return for the 2023 college football season and hope to be in a better position for the 2024 Draft.

With everything still changing and evolving, one thing remains static. Alabama outside linebacker Will Anderson, the 2022 Lott IMPACT Trophy winner, is still No. 1 on the NFL Draft Scout List. Another defender, Georgia defensive tackle Jalen Carter, is No. 2. Says so right there, take a look.

The first quarterbacks on this list? Alabama's Bryce Young is at No. 3 followed by Ohio State's C. J. Stroud at No. 4.  Kentucky's big quarterback, Will Levis, is No. 18 overall here, but lots of folks think he may even leapfrog Young and Stroud. No here. Not yet. But check back as the process moves forward.

Here is a current peek at NFL Draft Scout's top 200:
