CFB Team Report - Syracuse</h2><br>GAME BREAKDOWN<p></p> KEY MATCHUP: Western Michigan lost third-round left tackle Chukwuma Okorafor, but everybody else returns to the line and the Broncos have a strong 1-2 punch at running back in oft-injured junior LeVante Bellamy and senior Jamauri Bogan, who has 27 career TDs and was the MAC Freshman of the Year in 2015.<p></p> "I see a team that wants to run the football," Syracuse coach Dino Babers said. "They have a tough, tough running back (Bogan) that's very good, and they have an explosive backup tailback (Bellamy). Their offensive line is big, tough and physical. They want to play a certain style of football, so they're going to come out there and try to run the football. If we're going to win, we're going to have to find a way to stop it."<p></p> Syracuse was 98th nationally against the run last season (196.7 yards per game).<p></p> DRAFT SLANT<p></p> QB Eric Dungey will be dogged by questions about being injury-prone, no matter what happens in 2018. Jim Nagy, the executive director of the Senior Bowl, had this to say to Syracuse.com: "It's going to raise red flags. He's going to be thoroughly, thoroughly checked out. That's going to be a big part of the process whether he likes it or not."<p></p> ROSTER REPORT:<p></p> --RG Koda Martin, a graduate transfer from Texas A&M (and the son-in-law of Syracuse coach Dino Babers) is listed as the starting right guard for the opener.<p></p> --WR Nykeim Johnson is "banged up," according to coach Dino Babers and was not listed on the initial depth chart. He has been expected to be a key part of the rotation. <p></p><p></p><p></p>=
