Tyler Boyd's season is in jeopardy after the Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver sustained a knee injury during the opening drive of the third quarter in Sunday's win over the Oakland Raiders. NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported that Boyd has a low-grade MCL sprain. The injury could sideline him for the remaining two contests of the season for the Bengals (6-8), who snapped a five-game skid with a 30-16 victory versus the Raiders. "A decision will be made on that through the week as he goes," coach Marvin Lews told reporters Monday, "once they get a good idea how injured he'll be." On Sunday, Boyd became the first Bengals wide receiver not named A.J. Green to reach 1,000 receiving yards for a season since Chad Johnson in 2009. Prior to his injury, Boyd celebrated a touchdown catch with a reprise of Johnson's "River Dance" celebration. "I don't even know. It's been awhile," Boyd said of the last time he practiced the dance. Boyd, who finished with four catches for 38 yards and a score against the Raiders, posted career highs in receptions (76), receiving yards (1,028) and touchdowns (seven) this season. The 24-year-old Boyd has collected 152 catches for 1,856 yards with 10 touchdowns in 40 career games since being selected by Cincinnati in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft. With the 6-foot-2, 203-pound Boyd injured and with Green out for the season, the Bengals will look to fellow wideouts John Ross, Cody Core and Alex Erickson for production when Cincinnati visits the Cleveland Browns (6-7-1) on Sunday (1 p.m. ET). "If he can come back and play, he wants to play," Lewis said of Boyd. Ross serves as the Bengals' next active leading wide receiver with 206 yards. --TE C.J. Uzomah played 69 of 80 snaps Sunday despite a shore shoulder. He had he Bengals longest catch of the day on a leaping reception for 27 yards. He went out for one play and then returned. --RB Joe Mixon (995 yards) is vying to become the first Bengals running back to lead the AFC in rushing since Paul Robinson's 1,023 yards led the American Football League of 1968, Cincinnati's first season. Mixon has a slim lead Denver rookie Phillip Lindsay (991). Other contenders included the Dallas' Lamar Miller (917) and Pittsburgh's James Conner (909). --DT Geno Atkins had three sacks in the fourth quarter against the Raiders, givng him 10 on the season. It;'s his third double-digit season. --DE Sam Hubbard had two sacks against the Raiders, giving him six on the season. --KR Alex Erickson averaged 42 yards on four kickoff returns Sunday, with a long of 77 yards.
