Packers WR Cobb (hamstring) inactive vs. Bills

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb was ruled inactive for Sunday's game against the visiting Buffalo Bills. Marquez Valdes-Scantling will start in place of Cobb, who is nursing a hamstring injury. Cobb is a huge part of Green Bay's offensive scheme, having participated in 91 percent of the team's offensive plays through three games. He has 17 receptions for 194 yards and a touchdown. However, in the last two games, Cobb has been limited to a total of eight catches for 52 yards. Cornerback Brashad Breeland, who was signed on Wednesday, was also listed as inactive for the Packers. The 26-year-old Breeland had been seeking a job since failing a physical due to a toe injury with the Carolina Panthers during the offseason, nullifying a three-year, $24 million deal with the club. A fourth-round draft pick of Washington in 2014, Breeland started 15 games for the Redskins last season. He had 50 tackles (37 solo), broke up 19 pass attempts and returned an interception 96 yards for a touchdown. Breeland has collected 271 tackles and eight interceptions in 60 NFL games. Green Bay has allowed 262 passing yards per game (21st in NFL) and have permitted a passer rating of 103.1 (24th) through three weeks. The Packers also listed quarterback Tim Boyle, running back Darius Jackson, cornerback Kevin King and offensive linemen Justin McCray and Alex Light as inactive for Sunday's game.
