South Alabama’s run of local football recruiting success continued on Monday with the commitment of Vigor High School all-around standout Jerrian Graham.
Graham (6-foot-2, 190 pounds) is the fifth Coastal Alabama player to commit to the Jaguars for their 2024 recruiting class. He joins St. Paul’s offensive lineman Asher Hale, Mary G. Montgomery quarterback Jared Hollins, Foley offensive lineman Logan Joellenbeck and Theodore defensive lineman Kevin Norwood in that group.
Graham announced his commitment via Twitter:

Graham chose Kane Wommack’s South Alabama program from a final two that also included Arkansas State. He also has scholarship offers from UAB, North Alabama, Samford, Troy, Jacksonville State, Louisiana, Southern Miss, Tulane and Georgia State, among other schools.
Graham has played running back, wide receiver, quarterback and defensive back during his Vigor career, but is expected to be a pass-catcher at the next level. He also stars in track & field, winning the Class 5A state championship in the 100-meter dash this past May.
Graham gives South Alabama 12 commitments for its 2024 class, and a second in two days after James Clemens High School defensive end Nathan Jennings pledged to the Jaguars on Sunday. The early signing period for high school players begins in late December.
