Coastal will join the rest of the East Division in New Orleans on Wednesday

CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina football will join the rest of the Sun Belt Conference East Division for day two of the 2023 Sun Belt Football Media Days in New Orleans on Wednesday, July 26. Representing the Chanticleers will be first-year head coach Tim Beck, redshirt senior quarterback Grayson McCall and redshirt senior linebacker JT Killen.
The Chanticleers will be joined by the other six Sun Belt East Division programs—Appalachian State, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, James Madison, Marshall, and Old Dominion.
For the third-straight year, the event will be held at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel in downtown New Orleans, La., and will be broadcast nationwide on ESPN+.
Teal Nation can follow behind the scenes with the Chants throughout the day on Twitter at @CoastalFootball and Instagram @coastalfootball, as Coach Beck, McCall, and Killen will kick off the media day at 8:30 a.m. ET/7:30 p.m. CT on radio row and will continue with interviews throughout the day.
The CCU trio is scheduled to take the main stage at the media day festivities at 4 p.m. ET/3 p.m. CT, which will air live on ESPN+ (CLICK HERE).
On top of that, the "Voice of the Chanticleers" Joe Cashion and color commentator Layne Harris will be live from Sun Belt Football Media Day with the Coastal Football Kickoff Show presented by Spann Roofing.
The live show will run from 9:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. ET on 105.5 Hank FM and will include interviews from Sun Belt Conference Commissioner Keith Gill (10:40 a.m. ET) and all seven East Division head coaches.
The "Teal Takeover" of the show will take place from 11:40 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. ET, with Coach Beck, McCall, Killen, and Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics and University Recreation Matt Hogue joining the show over that period.
Picked to finish third in the East Division in the 2023 Sun Belt Conference Preseason Coaches Poll, Coastal will open the season versus UCLA at the famous Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, Calif., on Saturday, Sept. 2, at 10:30 p.m. ET. CCU's home opener will be versus Jacksonville State on Saturday, Sept. 9, at 7 p.m. ET.
