Syracuse football expands class of 2024 to nine players with addition of tight end

Published Jun. 17, 2023, 5:18 p.m. By Emily Leiker | Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse football is approaching double digits for its 2024 recruiting class with still much of the recruiting cycle ahead of it. The Orange picked up a commitment from Jamie Tremble on Saturday afternoon. He’s the ninth player to verbally join the class. Tremble is a three-star per 247 Sports’ Composite ranking, which takes into account rankings from other popular recruiting sites, but a four-star by the site’s individual rankings. He plays both wide receiver and tight end, similar to SU star Oronde Gadsden, who converted into a tight end role last year and led the team in receiving yards. He’s also already 6-foot-4 and 205 pounds as a high school senior, just an inch and 10 pounds shy of Gadsden’s current measurements. A Georgia native, Tremble plays for the Wesleyan School in Norcross, Georgia. He’s the No. 54 player in the state and No. 27 tight end in the country. Tremble is just the third offensive player to commit to SU this cycle. There are eight other players currently in the Orange’s class, which ranks No. 50 in the country: Clinton Robinson (CB), Noah Rosahac (IOL), Travon and Trashon Dye (LB), Tristen Graham (DE), David McMorris (DE), Zekai Wimberly (LB) and Jaden Hart (RB).
