2021 (Fr.):2021 SEC All-Freshman Team, 2021 FWAA Freshman All-America Team, 2021 The Athletic Freshman All-America First Team.

2023 (RS-So. at Texas A&M): Started at center in all 12 games he appeared in ... Helped the Texas A&M offense record 300-plus yards passing in three games and 200-plus yards rushing in three games ... Made the start at Miami while the offensive line allowed only one sack in 53 pass attempts ... Helped the Aggies roll up over 200 yards rushing while making the start at center in back to back wins over Auburn (209) and Arkansas (204) ... Made the start in the Texas Bowl and helped the offense pass for 372 yards, while the offensive line group allowed two sacks in 35 pass attempts.

2022 (RS-Fr. at Texas A&M): Started four games before a season-ending injury ... Awarded the Offensive Most Explosive Award at the team banquet.

2021 (Fr. at Texas A&M): Started in all 12 games ... Started at center in his collegiate debut, helping A&M roll up 595 yards of total offense in the season-opening win over Kent State ... Received the Top Newcomer Award on the offensive side of the ball at the annual team banquet.

What is the significance behind your jersey number?

• It was the same number my brother wore in college.

At what age did you start playing football and how did you get into football?

• I started playing at 5 years old. I watched my brother play football and he would put pads on me and tackle me and ask if it hurt. He's helped a ton from then until now. 

What is one thing that someone wouldn't know about you?

 

• I love to whip up some food in the kitchen. My best meal is my birria tacos.
