UPDATES
Week 14: Oregon dropped the last-ever Pac-12 Championship Game, 34-31, with Nix throwing for a season low 237 yards and completed 21-of-34 passes — the only time this season he completed under 70 percent of his throws in a game. He still threw three TDs to finish the regular season with 40 scoring throws. He also threw an interception, just the third of a remarkable 2023 campaign. — JH
Week 13: In Oregon's 31-7 Civil War win over rival Oregon State, Nix again showcased his premium accuracy, completing 33-of-40 passes for 367 yards and two touchdowns. It was the fifth game of 2023 in which Nix completed 80 percent of his passes or better. — JH
Week 12: Nix threw a career-best six touchdowns in the Ducks' 49-13 thrashing of Arizona State. For the second straight week, Nix threw for 400 yards. He completed 24-of-29 passes (82.8 percent). Two of Nix's TD throws were to receiver Troy Franklin, including a rainbow 45-yard post pattern to put Oregon up 28-0.
Week 11: In Oregon's win over USC, 36-27, Nix completed 23-of-31 (74 percent) for a season-high 412 yards. For his second straight game, he threw four touchdowns — in fact his first two passes of the game were touchdown throws of 78 and 84 yards. — JH
Week 10: Nix threw four touchdowns and 386 yards as Oregon routed Cal, 63-19. The quarterback completed 29-of-38 passes (76 percent), as he continues his streak of games with 70 percent or better to nine games. —Jh
Week 9: Nix continued his terrific 2023 by going a solid 24-of-31 for 248 yards and two TDs. The Ducks dominated Utah on the road, 35-6. Through eight games, Nix has thrown 21 TDs and just one interceptions, numbers that may have him climbing draft boards. — JH
Week 8: Nix threw season-low in attempts (25) and completions (18), but he and Ducks rebounded from the tough loss to Washington by beating visiting Washington State, 38-24. — JH
Week 7: In Oregon's big showdown with host and unbeaten No. 5 Washington, Nix finished 33 of 44 for a season-high 347 yards...but the Ducks lost for the first time this season, 36-33. The QB also threw two touchdowns. — JH
Week 6: DNP — Oregon's bye week
Week 5: Nix was again tremendously efficient, completing 27 of 32 passes and four TDs, in Oregon's big win over Stanford, 42-6. He also threw for 290 yards, averaging 9.1 yards per attempt — both numbers Nixon's second best this season. — JH
Week 4: Oregon thrashed previously unbeaten Colorado 42-6, and Nix led the way, completing 28 of 33 passes (a season-best 84.8 percent), 272 yards and three TDs. He threw his first interception of the season. — JH
Week 3: Nix completed 21-of-27 (77.8 percent) for 247 yards and threw three touchdowns as host Oregon crushed Hawaii, 55-10. As in Weeks 1 and 2, Nix had no interceptions in the game.
Week 2: Nix threw for 323 yards, completing 30-of-42 passes (71.4% passing rating), as visiting Oregon outlasted Texas Tech, 38-10. His numbers were hurt by five drops from his receivers. Nix threw two touchdowns and no INT. He also did some damage with his legs
Week 1: Nix threw for 269 yards and completed 22-of-26 (84.6 percent) and three touchdowns, and helped lead Oregon to a school-record 81 points. The Ducks massacred Portland State 81-6. Nix also threw three touchdowns and had no INTs.
