Christian Gonzalez

CB · Oregon

OVERVIEW

Summary: After two years at Colorado, Gonzalez transferred his ample talent to Oregon last season and led the Ducks in passes defensed (11) and interceptions (4). Loaded with athleticism, as evidenced by 40 yard time of 4.38 seconds, a vertical jump of 41.5 inches and a broad jump of 11 feet, one inch. He has size, speed and agility to stay with NFL-caliber receivers, but could improve on his tackling. Hey, nobody's perfect.

FRANKLY: When you come across a cornerback who has the ability to start as a rookie, don't pass him up. There are a lot of good corners in this draft, but Gonzalez is one of the top two.
