Blidi Wreh-Wilson

Wreh-Wilson seemed to be over the knee injury that robbed him of half of the 2011 season and he offers the combination of size, athleticism and starting experience that scouts covet. Voted a team captain in 2010, Wreh-Wilson suffered a knee injury and missed five games in 2011. He was the team's MVP in 2012 and enters the NFL with 39 career starts. Of his eight career interceptions, he returned two for touchdowns. For the cornerback position, Wreh-Wilson looks the part at 6-feet-1 and 192 pounds with 32.5-inch arms, but his lack of speed showed up on several occasions during Senior Bowl practices.

Has shown flashes of being an intriguing prospect, possessing not only the physical characteristics scouts are looking for but also a flair for the dramatic. Looks the part with his exceptional height for the position and 32.5-inch arms.

weaknesses

He lined up in both press and off-coverage at the Senior Bowl, but struggles in his transition to quickly flip his hips and blanket his man downfield. Not every cornerback can play man coverage, and Wreh-Wilson is most comfortable in zone schemes. Lack of speed showed up on several occasions during Senior Bowl practices.
