Coleman Shelton

OG, C · Washington
It is the nature of the position to get overlooked by fans unless things go wrong but Shelton wasn't underrated by members of the Pac-12, who acknowledged his steady play each of the past two seasons, voting him Second Team all-conference as a junior and promoting him to First Team honors after his senior campaign. It was a steady progression for Shelton, who arrived at Washington as a relatively lightly recruited prospect in 2013 who spent his first season on campus getting bigger and stronger while redshirting. It didn't take long for Shelton to turn those efforts into playing time, starting seven (including the season opener against Hawaii) and playing in 13 games at right tackle for Washington as a redshirt freshman. He proved to be a jack of all trades the next year, starting all 13 games but rotating between left tackle (two games), left guard (two) and right guard (nine) before finally making the switch to center - where he projects best in the NFL - for his final two seasons at Washington.
