Week 2: North Carolina won their second game over a tough Appalachian State 40-34. Spencer allowed 4 QB Pressures Allowed with 1 Hit on the QB .

Week 1:  In a 31-27 win on the road against border rival South Carolina. Spencer had a great day, not giving up any sacks,no hurries. Spencer also recorded two pancake blocks.

Started in 13 games which he played at right tackle • Did not play against Georgia State • Was on the field for 975 snaps • Blocked for an offense that averaged 309.3 yards passing per game (11th NCAA/2nd ACC), 462.8 total yards per game (19th NCAA/2nd ACC) and 34.4 points per game (26th NCAA/3rd ACC).
