Week 2: North Carolina won their second game over a tough Appalachian State 40-34. Spencer allowed 4 QB Pressures Allowed with 1 Hit on the QB .

Week 1:  In a 31-27 win on the road against border rival South Carolina. Spencer had a great day, not giving up any sacks,no hurries. Spencer also recorded two pancake blocks.
