– Recruited to Cal as a defensive back but played in 20 games as a wide receiver and posted 43 receptions for 719 yards and five touchdown grabs during his 2018 sophomore and 2019 junior season for a pair of teams that each won North Coast Section Division I and East Bay League titles before falling in the state championshjp game to Mater Dei and St. John Bosco in back-to-back seasons

– Had his 2020 senior campaign postponed/cancelled due to COVID-19

– Played in 12 games and contributed 29 receptions for 439 yards and two touchdowns as a 2019 junior for a team that finished 12-2 overall, and ranked No. 3 in the state of California and No. 13 nationally according to MaxPreps
