Recent Raheim Sanders Notes
Week 4: Sanders was held out of his third straight game as a game Arkansas team narrowly lost to No. 12 LSU 34-31 in Baton Rouge. Hopes are the talented back will be available in Week 5 when the Razorbacks host Texas A&M. — JH
Week 3: Fears are that Sanders knee injury may be more serious than first thought, as he was kept out of Arkansas' Week 3 loss to BYU, 38-31. — JH
Week 2: Sanders did not suit up in Arkansas' 28-6 win over Kent State because of lingering soreness from the knee injury suffered against West Carolina in Week 1. — JH
Week 1: Sanders rushed 15 times for 42 yards (2.8 yards per carry) and two touchdowns. The Razorbacks didn't seem to need much of a running game — they averaged just 3.3 on the ground — but still manhandled Western Carolina 56-13. His longest run was 14 yards. The 'backs apparently didn't "Rocket" as a receiver either as his two catches went for a -4 yards. Of some concern is that Sanders departed the game with a knee injury. — JH
