Ohio State Overview
• Jack is a two-year Varsity O letterwinner who has played in all 26 games the past two years
• He will be one of the key defensive ends for the Buckeyes in 2023 and among the best in the Big Ten Conference
• Played both defensive end and the program’s hybrid “jack” position in 2022, but will focus solely on end in 2023
• Recorded 24 tackles in 2022, including the third-most tackles-for-loss with 6.5 for minus-24 yards, and earned honorable mention all-Big Ten Conference honors for the league’s coaches
• Also had 4.5 quarterback sacks (-20 yards)
• Had a career-best five tackles vs. Toledo, including 2.0 TFLs
• Enters 2023 with 9.5 career TFLs (-48 yards) and 7.5 quarterback sacks
