Week 7: Against Wisconsin, Schulte tallied six tackles — but he missed three others. He allowed two catches in coverage for just eight yards. — JH

Week 6: Schulte again made his presence felt as he was in on eight tackles in the Hawkeyes' 20-14 victory over Purdue. In coverage, the FS was targeted five times and allowed three catches for 25 total yards. — JH 

Week 5: The active FS was in on eight tackles as Iowa beat Michigan State, 26-16. He did miss one tackle. In coverage, Schulte was targeted four times and allowed two catches for a total of eight yards. — JH

Week 4: Schulte had a so-so day in pass coverage in Iowa's 31-0 loss to No. 7 Penn State. He was targeted just once (no completion allowed) as Nittany Lions QB Drew Allar seemed intent on working areas of the field where Schulte wasn't. The free safety was also in on two tackles. — JH

Week 3: The Iowa safety was in on five tackles against Western Michigan but was victimized in coverage. Schulte allowed two receptions for 54 yards — one a 43-yard gain. The Hawkeyes upended the Broncos, 41-10.

Week 2: In 76 snaps Schulte, had three solo tackles and assisted on four others in Iowa's 20-13 victory over Iowa State. He also had two pressures blitzing from his safety spot on Cyclones QB Rocco Becht.

Week 1: Schulte played 70 snaps in Iowa's win over Utah State, 24-14, to open the season. The Hawkeyes safety was in on five tackles.
