Week 4: Florida State moved to 4-0 with a thrilling 31-24 win versus Clemson. Cypress recorded four tackles for the second straight game. He was targeted on eight passes and allowed five completions for 43 yards. He also recorded a pass breakup.
Week 3: Florida State won their third game versus Boston College 31-29. Fentrell recorded four tackles. He was targeted six times and allowed four receptions.
Week 2: Florida State won their game versus Southern Miss 66-13. Fentrell did not record a tackle. He was targeted twice and did not allow a reception.
Week 1: Florida State won their season opener versus LSU 45-24. Fentrell recorded four tackles and two assists. He was targeted six times and allowed three receptions for 36 yards.
