HISTORY

2022 (r-senior): Martin started all 14 games for the Hilltoppers in his final season at WKU. The Alabama native made 31 tackles on the season, including 1.5 sacks. Martin also forced a fumble, hurried the quarterback seven times throughout the year and broke up two passes. Martin's biggest game of the season came against Indiana when he made six tackles, 0.5 sacks and a quarterback hurry. At the end of the year, he was named C-USA Honorable Mention and earned an invite to the 2023 East-West Shrine Bowl. 

2021 (r-junior): Martin appeared in all 14 games for WKU during his first season on The Hill. He tallied 31 tackles for the year, including 4.5 for loss and 2.5 sacks. His efforts helped lead the Hilltoppers to a Conference USA East Division Championship. Martin's best game of the season came in the conference championship game at UTSA where he notched seven tackles and half a sack.

Before WKU: Martin played in all 25 games in three seasons at North Alabama, starting 16 of them. Made 81 total tackles (37 solo, 44 assisted) with nine tackles for loss – for 24 yards lost – and two sacks for seven negative yards, while also adding four pass breakups and two quarterback hurries. In his career with the Lions, had multiple tackles in 19-of-25 games and at least 0.5 tackles for loss in 12-of-25 games. Redshirted his first year in Florence in 2017.

 

High school: Played for head coach Mike Vickey at Northridge HS. Helped lead the Jaguars to state playoffs two years. Named to the West All-Star Team. Also lettered in basketball and track.
