*Emmanuel Forbes

CB · Mississippi State

Summary: Stop, thief! In the last four seasons Forbes stole 21 passes, returning eight of those INTs for touchdowns. Forbes owns the FBS career record with six pick-sixes ... Is the FBS active career lead in overall defensive touchdowns (6) ... Broke the FBS record shared by three other players, most recently by Oklahoma State's Darrent Williams (2001-04) ... He had six interceptions in 2022 season and 14 total picks in his career – a total that also makes him the active career interceptions leader in the FBS ... He led the nation since his career began in 2020 and is now fourth in MSU history ... Forbes is also fourth among active FBS players in career interception return yards (390) ... Set MSU single-season record for interception return yards in the 2020 season at 183 (5 INT), besting Johnthan Banks' mark of 145 (4 INT) in 2009 ... Set the MSU and Armed Forces Bowl record with a 90-yard interception return for a touchdown.

FRANKLY: Don't be concerned with his diminutive size. It doesn't bother him. He throws around his ~170-pound body like a madman. He is lean and mean and can cover a moth in a windstorm. Plays smart, well except he acts like he is 40 pounds heavier than he is. Forbes is one of my faves in this draft, so I like him late in first round, although he is expected to go lower. A steal wherever he is drafted
