UNLV: A tall, dynamic left-handed quarterback who is an honors candidate looking to remain healthy after missing multiple games during his career … Named Preseason Third Team All-Mountain West by Phil Steele’s … Chosen to represent the Rebel offense at the annual MW Media Days in July … Enters his junior season ranked second in school history with a career completion percentage of 60.5% and sits first in lowest interception percentage at .0191 (6 in 314 att.) … Invited to serve as a counselor at the Manning Passing Academy in June … Originally committed to the Rebels in May 2019 under the previous UNLV coaching staff and ultimately chose UNLV over offers from Kansas, Rutgers and Utah … A member of the UNLV Dean’s Honor List in fall 2020 … Named to the 2020 Academic All-Mountain West Team. 

 

2022: Earned Honorable Mention All-Mountain West after starting 10 games … Became the first Rebel QB to be part of the All-MW postseason list since Jason Thomas earned Honorable Mention from the media in 2000 and first conference team that included a coaches' vote since Jon Denton was second team in 1996 as part of the WAC … The sophomore signal-caller appeared in 10 games and broke the UNLV record for pass completion percentage in a season with 64.6, besting Caleb Herring's 2013 mark of 63.2 … Led the team with 1,898 passing yards with 10 touchdowns through the air to go with 261 net rushing yards and six more scores … Finished second in the MW with 215.9 total offensive yards per game and sixth in overall offensive TDs with 16 … His seven 200-yard passing games in ’22 tied for seventh-most in a season by a Rebel and the most since 2013 … Set a career-high with 356 passing yards in the season-opening victory over Idaho State, completing 22-of-25 pass attempts and a school-record-tying four touchdowns … His big day against the Bengals included a career-long 72-yard scoring pass to Ricky White that sparked a school-record 35-point second quarter … Threw for two and ran for two more TDs in a Week Three win over North Texas … Finished 21-27 for 211 yards through the air and finished with exactly 100 net yards rushing against the Mean Green … Became 12th different UNLV quarterback to post a century-mark game on the ground (19 total) … Completed 21-of-31 passes in a victory at Utah State, throwing for 217 yards and a score to go with two more rushing touchdowns … Set a career-high with 24 completions on 33 attempts to help his team to a win vs. New Mexico … Suffered an injury at San Jose State and missed the next two games vs. Notre Dame and Air Force … Returned to throw for 207 yards at San Diego State in Week Nine … Knocked out again early in the season finale vs. UNR. 

 

2021: Limited to just three games overall because of injuries but made his first two collegiate starts … Changed jersey numbers from 17 to 2 for his second year … Completed 17-of-39 pass attempts for 320 yards, two TDs and one interception … Came off the bench in the season opener and rallied the Rebels behind 117 passing yards and 27 rushing yards and a score vs. Eastern Washington … Started the following week at Arizona State and ran for another touchdown before begin knocked out with an injury … After a week off, started at Fresno State in Week Four and threw for a career-high 143 yards and two touchdowns to give UNLV a lead before again being knocked out of the game and ending his 2021 season … That game at the No. 22 Bulldogs included finding Tyleek Collins for a career-long 80-yard touchdown to open the second half. 

 

2020: Redshirted season by appearing only in the final two games … Came off the bench vs. Wyoming and completed 4-of-8 pass attempts for 93 yards and rushed eight times for a net of 24 yards, including scoring his first collegiate touchdown on an eight-yard scramble to the end zone … In the next game at Hawai’i, replaced senior starter Max Gilliam after the first series and went 5-of-13 for 58 yards through the air and had six attempts for 13 net yards on the ground, including a season-long 14-yard rush … Left that game with an injury in the first half. 

 

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2020 graduate of Junipero Serra HS in Gardena, CA … A highly recruited signal-caller who was rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports, Rivals and ESPN … Ranked the No. 53 pro-style QB in the nation and the No. 145 overall recruit from California by 247Sports … A three-year letterwinner under coach Scott Altenberg … Over three seasons, threw for 5,723 yards and 38 touchdowns in 29 games played … Also ran for 712 yards on 160 carries and eight touchdowns … During senior season in 2019, threw for 1,478 yards and 10 touchdowns … Also ran for a career-high 444 yards on 74 carries with five rushing touchdowns in final prep season … Named his team’s most valuable player … As a junior in 2018, threw for a career-high 3,112 yards and 20 touchdowns … Set school record for most passing yards in a season … Earned league’s offensive player of the year and was a first team all-league selection … In first season as a starter in 2017, threw for 1,133 yards and eight touchdowns in nine games played … Named offensive rookie of the year and was a second team all-league selection.
