2022 (JUNIOR): Appeared in all 14 games for the Bulldogs, playing primarily on special teams … registered 14 tackles for a single-season best … tied his career-high with four tackles twice on the year, in back-to-back games (San Diego State and Hawai’i) … saw some action at safety, stepping in as injuries plagued the position group.
2021 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in all 13 games on the season, and got the start at safety at Wyoming (Oct. 16) … registered 13 tackles on the season, nine solo … had a season-high four tackles against Nevada (Oct. 23) … had at least one tackle in seven games … had three multi-tackle games … had a tackle for loss against Cal Poly (Sept. 11) … played safety and was a member of the kickoff unit … helped Fresno State to two wins over ranked opponents, both on the road. It was the first time Fresno State defeated two Top 25 opponents in a season for the first time since 2004, and the first time both wins came on the road in the 100 year history of the program.
2020 (FRESHMAN): Made appearances in all six games as a true freshman … had the first tackles (2) of his Bulldog career against Colorado State (Oct. 29) … had a career-best four tackles against New Mexico (Dec. 12) … finished the season with nine tackles, four solo stops.
HIGH SCHOOL: Recruited by the Bulldogs as an “athlete” after playing both sides of the ball at Sanger High School ... helped lead the Apaches to a 7-4 record and an appearance in the first round of the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Playoffs ... had 90 carries for 1,054 yards and 17 touchdowns, and seven receptions for 130 yards and one touchdown as a senior in 2019 ... Agina earned first team All-League running back honors and finished fourth in CIF Track and Field State Championship (Triple Jump) in 2019 ... was a first team defensive back in 2018 ... was named the CMAC Offensive Player of The Year in 2018 ... was a three-time CMAC first team All-League track and field selection ... holds the Sanger High School record in the triple jump (47’10.75) set in 2018 ... is a CSF lifetime member ... academic scholar recipient ... eight-time scholar-athlete honoree ... volunteered with the IGBO Youth Association of Central California ... youth track and field meet volunteer.

Born in Fresno ... son of Cornelius and Hyacintha Agina ... has three older siblings, Sonachi, Chinenye and Chiazo, and one younger sibling Chidera ... favorite hobbies include hanging out with family, learning about his culture, giving back to the community and watching TV ... favorite athlete is Lebron James for everything he does in the community and on the court, he is an all-around great athlete ... chose to attend Fresno State because it is close to home, a school that his family and friends could come and support him ... also loves the pride that the Valley has for the program and says it is another reason to play harder ... is undecided on a major.
