Week 8: In Iowa's tough loss to Minnesota, 12-10, Jackson was in on six tackles.
Week 7: Jackson had one solo tackle and five assisted stops as Iowa fought off host Wisconsin, 15-6. In five targets in coverage, he did allow three catches for 37 yards, including a long of 18 yards. He did record a pass breakup. — JH
Week 6: Against Purdue, the LB was in on 10 tackles, including three solo tackles. He did miss two other tackles. Purdue QB Hudson Card had designs on exploiting Jackson in coverage, targeting the linebacker seven times. Jackson gave up six catches for 29 yards. He was also called for a penalty — JH
Week 5: Another strong game for Jackson in Iowa's 26-16 win over Michigan State. The LB was in on 10 tackles, including four solo stops. In coverage, he gave up four receptions for 24 yards.
Week 4: Jackson might have been the star for Iowa on a day the Hawkeyes got manhandled 31-0 by No. 7 Penn State. The LB notched 11 total tackles, including six solo, though he did miss two tackles. Jackson had a tougher day in coverage, being targeted eight times and allowing six catches for 35 yards. — JH
Week 3: Against Western Michigan, Jackson was credited with four solo tackles and five assisted tackles as Iowa beat up on Western Michigan 41-10. The inside 'backer was more effective in pass coverage this week, as he gave up just one reception for six yards. — JH
