2022 (sr): Started all 13 games at free safety…made 31 consecutive starts to finish his collegiate career…selected a Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) All-American (second team)…Paycom Jim Thorpe Award semifinalist…All-ACC (second team)…responsible for a team-high six turnovers (three interceptions and three fumble recoveries)…also totaled 54 tackles, four tackles for loss, nine pass breakups and two forced fumbles…selected the ACC Co-Defensive Back of the Week for his performance at Miami, where he compiled seven stops, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery…twice named to the Pro Football Focus National Team of the Week (Miami and Western Michigan)…at WMU, Hallett intercepted two passes, the second multiple-interception game of his career (two vs. Wake Forest, 2021 ACC Championship Game)…had a season-high eight tackles at North Carolina…had six stops, a TFL and fumble recovery against West Virginia…had seven tackles (all solo) against UCLA in the Sun Bowl...selected to play in the Hula Bowl all-star game.

2021 (jr): Started all 14 games at free safety…totaled 70 tackles and 2.5 TFLs…paced Pitt with three interceptions (tied), nine pass breakups, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery (tied)…Honorable Mention All-ACC…honored with the John D. Swofford Most Valuable Player Award after he intercepted two passes—returning one for a 19-yard touchdown—in Pitt’s 45-21 victory over Wake Forest in the ACC Championship Game…collected four tackles, two pass breakups and an interception (which led to a short Pitt TD drive) at Virginia Tech and was named ACC Defensive Back of the Week…had a career-high 10 stops against Michigan State in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl…posted nine stops against Miami…had eight tackles, a TFL and a PBU against North Carolina…had five tackles and two PBUs against Clemson...forced and recovered a fumble against Massachusetts.

2020 (soph): Played in 10 games, starting the final four contests of the season…his initial starting assignment of the year came at cornerback against Florida State (Nov. 7)…his subsequent three starts (Virginia Tech, Clemson and Georgia Tech) occurred at safety…totaled 30 tackles, two tackles for loss, four pass breakups and two interceptions…had a season-high seven stops against Virginia Tech and Clemson…logged interceptions against Austin Peay and Georgia Tech…logged two PBUs against Virginia Tech.

2019 (redshirt fr): Played in 12 games, making one start (at Syracuse)…in addition to duty at safety, saw significant special teams action throughout the season…totaled 14 tackles and two pass breakups on the year…had a season-high four tackles against UCF…had two tackles and a season-high two PBUs at Duke.

2018 (fr): Redshirted as a true freshman.

High school: One of the Houston area’s top prospects who helped lead Cy-Fair to the Texas Class 6A Division II championship with a 15-0 record…totaled 38 tackles, six interceptions and eight passes defended as a senior…returned an interception (34 yards) and a fumble (19 yards) for touchdowns…also contributed as a return specialist, averaging 27.6 yards on kickoffs (five for 138) and 11.2 on punts (21 for 235)…compiled 10 total INTs over his junior and senior seasons…Houston Chronicle All-Greater Houston…two-time first team All-District 17-6A…played under Coach Ed Pustejovsky…also a track and field letterman.
