 Draft Scout Russell Wilson News
01/15/17 - QB Russell Wilson threw two interceptions and was sacked three times in the Seahawks' 36-20 playoff loss at Atlanta on Saturday. He finished 17 of 30 for 225 yards with two touchdown passes.
01/08/17 - QB Russell Wilson, playing without a knee brace for the first time since Week 3, completed 22 of 30 passes for 224 yards and two touchdowns in Seattle's playoff win over Detroit on Saturday night. Wilson threw two highlight-worthy touchdown passes to Paul Richardson and Doug Baldwin. Richardson's one-handed catch of a 4-yard touchdown was one of two receptions the wide receiver made with one hand while a defender was called for pass interference. Wilson finished by throwing a 13-yard touchdown pass to Baldwin, who reached out to take the ball away from intended target Jermaine Kearse with 3:36 remaining.
12/15/16 - QB Russell Wilson went 19 of 26 through the air for 229 yards and three touchdowns in a rout of the Rams. His lone interception came on Seattle's final drive, when the game was already well in hand. It was a much-needed performance after Wilson was intercepted five times during Seattle's 38-10 defeat at Green Bay last Sunday. "It was a nice bounce-back game," Seattle coach Pete Carroll said. "He showed us what he's all about."
12/12/16 - QB Russell Wilson threw five interceptions for the first time ever in a regular-season game. He had only one three-interception regular-season game in his career, vs. St. Louis in 2012. Wilson also threw five against the Packers in the 2014 NFC Championship Game, won by Seattle 28-22 in overtime. He completed 22 of 39 passes for 240 yards and a touchdown Sunday at Green Bay.
12/04/16 - QB Russell Wilson produced 277 yards on 26-of-36 passing. He threw one TD pass and was intercepted once in a rout of Carolina.
