A Second Team All-OVC pick in 2005, Vincent returns for the third straight year as the No. 1 tailback... he is No. 7 on EIU’s all-time rushing list with 2828 career yards, and that figure also ranks him 15th among active NCAA I-AA rushers... his 32 career touchdowns place him 11th on the I-AA active list... in 2005, he ran for 1129 yards, 11th most in an EIU season... his 94.1 yards per game, which was third best in the OVC... five times he was over 100 yards with a high of 164 versus Murray State... he also caguth nine passes for 52 yards and scored 15 total touchdowns, second most in the OVC... in 2004, he was 26th in the nation in rushing with 100.5 yards per game getting 1106 total, 12th most in an EIU single season... he also caught 35 passes, second most on the team, for 184 yards... he became the team’s No. 1 running back as a redshirt freshman in 2003 leading the team with 593 yards rushing and scoring five touchdowns... was second on the team with 56.9 all-purpose yards per game... best game was rushing 30 times for 206 yards and a touchdown plus catching a 67 yard TD pass in the Tennessee- Martin victory... “Vincent is our most reliable performer in regard to his assignments,” says coach Bob Spoo... “he is a great runner plus a quality pass receiver which adds another dimension... but even though he’s the returning starter, he’ll be challenged by three or four other quality running backs that we have in the program”.
