Jalen Davis

Named the Grossmont-Hills League Defensive Player of the Year and an all-California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) first-team selection at cornerback as a prep senior at Helix High School in La Mesa, Calif., as he recorded 45 tackles

Earned first-team all-Grossmont-Hills honors at wide receiver as a senior as he caught 48 passes for 649 yards (13.5 ypr) with four touchdowns, and returned 17 punts for 348 yards (20.5 ypr) with four touchdowns

Returned 10 kickoffs for 379 yards (37.9 ypr) with two touchdowns

Had a punt return, a fumble return and an interception return all for touchdowns against Granite Hills HS as a senior

Helped the Highlanders to three-straight Grossmont-Hills League Championships during sophomore, junior and senior seasons, and a CIF Division II state championship as a sophomore

Had seven interceptions and five touchdowns as a junior, and 35 total tackles and four interceptions as a sophomore

Also competed on the track & field team.
