Anchich is the winningest high school football coach in the state of California

as a JUNIOR rushed for 837 yards and nine touchdowns while missing part of the season with injuries

helped Swordsmen to a 10-3 overall record and a 5-0 Mission League record

schedule included Southern California powers Long Beach Poly, Banning, and Sherman Oaks Notre Dame

eclipsed the 2,000-yard mark as a SENIOR, totaling 2,272 yards on the ground with 34 touchdowns

during the regular season, eclipsed the 100-yard mark in eight of 10 games

topped the 200-yard mark three times during the regular season, including 309 yards against Alemany, 272 against St. Francis, and 225 against Chaminade

also caught 14 passes for 153 yards and had 154 return yards

racked up nine touchdowns in first round of the playoffs in 77-35 win over Crescenta Valley

in that game scored on runs of five, six, seven, nine, 15, 41, 46, and 62 yards

also chipped in on defense, recording 33 tackles, two interceptions, and recovering two fumbles

Swordsmen finished with 8-4 record and reached the second round of the CIF Southern Section Division III playoffs

Los Angeles Times Southeast/South Coast All-Region first team at running back.
