UPDATES

Week 9: Allen had just 10 carries, totaling 45 yards, as Wisconsin fell to No. 3 Ohio State, 24-10. Allen's reduced load was likely the result of him losing two fumbles within the first seven minutes of the game, though Ohio State was able to turn those turnovers into just three points total. Allen was not a factor in the passing game, catching just one pass for zero yards. — JH

Week 8: The big back had a monster game, rushing for 145 yards on 29 carries and one TD, as Wisconsin topped Illinois, 25-21. He had a long of 30 yards, and he caught two passes for 16 yards. — JH

Week 7: Allen rushed for 87 yards on 18 carries (4.8 avg) in Wisconsin's 15-6 loss at home to Iowa. The big power back fumbled for the second straight week. As a receiver, Allen caught three passes for 16 yards.

Week 6: In Wisconsin's 24-16 over Rutgers, the big Badgers back had 99 yards on 21 carries (4.7 average) and one TD on the ground. He had long of 16 yards. In the passing game, he was caught two passes on two targets for 14 total yards. He also fumbled once. — JH

Week 5: DNP — Wisconsin had a bye week.

Week 4: An outstanding individual day for Allen in Wisconsin's 38-17 thumping of Purdue. The big halfback rushed for 116 yards on 16 carries for a robust 7.3 yards per carry. He also scored two touchdowns on the ground, and had an impressive 52-yard run early in the third quarter, when he used his 245 pounds to power through tacklers to get into the open. Allen tacked on one catch in the passing game for nine yards. — JH

Week 3: Allen got back on track in Wisconsin's 35-14 win over Georgia Southern. The Badger RB gained 94 yards on 12 carries and scored two rushing touchdowns. — JH

Week 2: Allen did not follow up his big day in Week 1 with another against Washington State as the Wisconsin back struggled to find room to run in the Badgers road loss, 31-22. Allen gained just 20 yards rushing on seven carries (2.9 ypc) and was kept out of the end zone. He did have six receptions but was held to just 11 yards receiving. — JH

Week 1: Our top-rated back started of the 2023 season on the right foot, rushing for 141 yards on 17 carries — a robust 8.3 yards per carry — as Wisconsin took care of the University of Buffalo, 38-7, in the season opener for both squads. Allen scored two rushing TDs and his longest run on the day was 37 yards. Used mostly as a safety valve, Allen also caught seven passes for 25 yards. — JH
