2022: Missed the first eight games of the season while recovering from an off-season injury ... played in the final five games of the season ... returned to action in the win over Oregon State ... made six tackles in the win at Oregon ... also saw action in the win at Washington State ... made two tackles in the Alamo Bowl win over Texas ... named the UW coaches' defensive skill player of the week after the wins over Oregon, and the special teams player of the week for the Alamo Bowl ... won the Tyee Sports Council Community Service Award at the team's postseason awards banquet.

2021: Played in the season's first six games, starting five ... missed the remainder of the season due to injury (announced by head coach on Oct. 25) ... had five tackles, one tackle for loss, and a pass break-up vs. Montana ... notched 13 tackles, including one for a loss, at Michigan ... one tackle in the win vs. Arkansas State ... six tackles in the win over Cal ... 16 tackles, including half a tackle for loss, at Oregon State ... game-high 10 tackles vs. UCLA ... won the team's Iron Husky Award for his performance in the weight room.

2020: Earned honorable mention All-America from Pro Football Focus and Phil Steele ... also second-team All-Pac-12 ... started all four games ... made 10 tackles and had four pass deflections vs. Oregon State in the season opener ... named the UW coaches' Defensive Player of the Week following the OSU win ... had three tackles, including an 11-yard sack with a forced fumble, vs. Arizona ... season-best 14 tackles in the victory over Utah ... set a new career-high with 18 total tackles vs. Stanford ... also had a 39-yard fumble return against the Cardinal ... won the UW's Earle T. 2019: Played in all 13 games, starting the final three ... named to the Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll ... made one tackle in the Huskies' win over Eastern Washington ... notched five tackles in the UW win over Hawai'i ... one tackle in the victory over USC ... made two tackles vs. Oregon ... saw a lot of action on defense vs. Utah, finishing the game with two tackles ... played much of the Oregon State win at linebacker, coming off the bench to lead the UW with nine tackles, which included one and a half sacks ... named the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week after the OSU win ... earned his first start at Colorado, finishing with a game-high 11 tackles ... had 12 tackles, including two for a loss and one-and-a-half sacks, in the Apple Cup victory over WSU ... made four tackles in the Las Vegas Bowl ... won the Husky Fever 12th Man of the Year Award at the Huskies' postseason awards banquet.

2018: Played in three games as a true freshman, thus preserving a redshirt season under the new NCAA rules ... saw his first action as a Husky in the Oregon State game ... on the first play of his career, forced a fumble on a kickoff ... that fumble was recovered by UW and led to a Husky touchdown on the ensuing drive ... also forced a fumble on another kickoff in the OSU game ... named the Husky coaches' special teams player of the game for his performance against the Beavers ... also played in the Apple Cup win at WSU ... also played in the Rose Bowl vs. Ohio State ... won the Mark Drennan Defensive Scout Squad MVP at the UW postseason awards banquet.

HIGH SCHOOL

Played outside linebacker and defensive end for Bishop Gorman ... helped lead Gorman to a 13-2 overall record, and its ninth straight 4A state championship as a senior in 2017 ... notched 100 tackles, including 15.5 for a loss, as a senior ... also had four fumble recoveries, two forced fumbles and two interceptions in 2017 ...  named to the Las Vegas Review Journal all-state second team in 2017 ... as a junior, notched 28 total tackles, 10.5 of them for a loss ... Gaels went 15-0, won the state title and were named the No. 1 high school team in the nation by USA Today ... had 48 stops in eight games as a sophomore in 2015, when Gorman was also 15-0, state champion and the No. 1 team in USA Today’s final rankings ... attended South High School in Anchorage, Alaska, as a freshman ... played football for Coach Kenny Sanchez at Bishop Gorman.
