Week 8: In Minnesota's 12-10 win over Iowa, Nubin blitzed from his safety spot and recorded a sack of Hawkeyes' QB Deacon Hill. Nubin anchored a pass defense that held Hill to 11-of-28 passing for just 116 yards and an interception. — JH

Week 7: Nubin was in on seven tackles in the Gophers' big loss to Michigan, 52-10. He was not targeted in pass coverage. — JH

Week 6: In Minnesota's 52-10 loss at the hands of Michigan, Nubin was in on six tackles, but struggled nonetheless in defending the run — as did the entire Gophers defense as Michigan racked up 191 yards on the ground. In coverage, he was not targeted. —JH

Week 5: In Minnesota's 35-24 win over Louisiana-Lafayette, Nubin recorded three tackles (though he missed a couple also). In coverage, he was targeted only once and did not allow a reception. — JH

Week 4: Nubin logged 84 snaps — a whopping 59 in pass coverage — in Minnesota's shootout loss to Northwestern, 34-31. Playing mostly centerfield, the free safety was targeted just twice in coverage, recording a pass break-up on one and allowing a four-yard completion on the other. He was also credited with three tackles, two solo. — JH

Week 3: Nubin was more involved in the action in Minnesota's 31-13 loss to North Carolina. The free safety was in on seven tackles, though, for the second week in a row, he didn't get any targets in the passing game. — JH

Week 2: Nubin played 44 snaps in Minnesota's 25-6 win over Eastern Michigan. The Gopher's free safety, had one tackle, missed another tackle and was not targeted in coverage. — JH

Week 1:  Nubin showed why he is a highly rated safety for the 2024 draft, as he picked off two passes — the second of which, with 58 seconds remaining in the game, set up Dragan Kesich's 47-yard field goal as time expired to give the Gophers a dramatic 13-10 win over Nebraska. Nubin was also credited with three tackles, including two solo stops. — JH
